About Andrew💜
The Kind AF movement was created in honour of Andrew Thomas Farrand - our son, brother, cousin, nephew, and grandchild. Andrew was a curious little boy who found joy in everything. He was a friend to all, always eager to make new connections, whether with adults, children, or babies. His uplifting energy lit up every room, and his sense of humour never failed to make people laugh.
Andrew idolized his siblings and cousins, spending his free time on adventures - from four-wheeling in a neighbour’s backyard, to backflipping on his trampoline, to exploring parks around Essex County. He loved school, not only for the friends and teachers he cherished but also for the joy of learning itself. If he could, Andrew would have gone to school year-round.
He was an early bird, always waking up with excitement for the day ahead, ready to share ideas for adventures with his mom. Sporty and active, Andrew loved soccer at McCauliffe Park, basketball with his dad, and Sunday bowling with his siblings.
Remembering Andrew is easy - his infectious energy and kind spirit touched everyone who knew him. Honouring him through Kind AF ensures that his legacy of kindness, connection, and joy continues to live on.
Our Initiative🌈
We believe every student deserves the chance to pursue their dreams, no matter the obstacles they face. Inspired by Andrew’s spirit, we created the Kind Andrew Farrand Scholarship, dedicated especially to students who have endured hardships such as medical challenges or the loss of a loved one. We know firsthand how difficult it can be to get up and go to school at a young age while carrying heavy emotional and financial burdens. This scholarship is our way of easing that pressure and helping students continue their education with hope and dignity. 100% of proceeds raised through Kind AF go directly to scholarships - helping with tuition, books, and other educational expenses. By contributing, you’re not just giving money -you’re giving hope, opportunity, and the message that resilience should be celebrated. Together, we can open doors for students who deserve the chance to thrive, despite life’s challenges.
